Woodland paths lined with bluebells in the Hucking Estate, the North Downs ridge with wide views over the Weald, open fields and flowering hedgerows, hints of wild garlic in the hollows, and scenic glimpses of Leeds Castle—its moat and grounds—from public footpaths.

We’ll explore the stunning Leeds Castle and traverse the beautiful trails of Hollingbourne. Enjoy a steady ascent through dense woods, reach a striking viewpoint on Reigate Hill, and take in the panoramic views of the London skyline. Dogs are welcome, just keep them leashed.

We’re heading out for a full day in the countryside: fresh air, good vibes, and plenty of photo moments. We’ll keep a steady pace with a picnic stop halfway, so bring something you’ll enjoy eating outdoors.

Useful info

  • Group train tickets: we travel together there and back from the same station.
  • Going solo: if you plan to return separately or get off elsewhere, please buy your own individual ticket in advance.

What to bring

  • Comfortable clothing and walking footwear; hiking boots if you have them.
  • Waterproof jacket and trousers recommended; waterproof shoes if possible.
  • Water (at least 1 litre, ideally 2).
  • Lunch for the picnic stop.
  • Some money for the pub afterwards (optional).

Pets

Dogs are welcome, on lead at all times.
