Jurassic Coast Weekend Adventure

A wild coastal weekend full of sea cliffs, sunsets, adventure and unforgettable memories with the Hiking in London Club.

AN UNFORGETTABLE WEEKEND TOGETHER

During the weekend, we will stay together near the coast and share the adventure as a group, enjoying a true outdoor experience full of good energy, laughter and unforgettable moments.

We will be staying together in a shared hostel accommodation, creating that real adventure atmosphere where everyone becomes part of the experience. Breakfast is also included, so we can start the second day together before continuing the coastal adventure.

This will not just be a hike… it will feel like a proper little escape for a couple of days — a wild adventure by the sea where we disconnect from normal life and simply enjoy nature, freedom and great company together.

Expect shared stories, tired legs, sea air, sunsets, cold drinks, good conversations and plenty of laughter.

For one weekend, we become explorers again — a proper adventure by the sea, with better views and a relaxed pub stop or two along the way.

The goal is simple: walk together, enjoy the coast, share the experience and create memories that will stay with you for years.

This is the kind of adventure that people remember long after the weekend is over.

DAY 1 — DURDLE DOOR & LULWORTH COVE

On the first day of the adventure, we will explore the spectacular coastline around Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, two of the most iconic natural landmarks in England.

We will walk along dramatic coastal cliffs, hidden bays and panoramic sea viewpoints while enjoying the wild beauty of the Jurassic Coast together as a group.

With a bit of luck and good weather, we will finish the day relaxing near the sea with a cold drink in hand and great company.

Because every great adventure deserves a proper ending surrounded by friends, sea air and unforgettable landscapes.

DAY 2 — OLD HARRY ROCKS ADVENTURE

On the second day of the trip, the group will continue the adventure towards the legendary Old Harry Rocks, one of the most famous coastal landmarks on the entire Jurassic Coast.

These incredible white chalk sea stacks rise dramatically from the sea and create one of the most iconic landscapes in southern England.

The walk towards Old Harry Rocks offers stunning views across the coastline, with rolling green cliffs, turquoise sea colours and endless panoramic scenery.

This section of the route feels truly epic, especially during late summer when the light over the cliffs becomes absolutely magical.

It will be the perfect ending for an unforgettable weekend full of coastal hiking, adventure, photography, nature and amazing group memories with the Hiking in London Club.

WHAT TO BRING FOR THE WEEKEND

For the walks:

  • Comfortable hiking boots with good grip (there are steep cliff climbs and descents).
  • Layers and a waterproof jacket — coastal weather can change quickly.
  • A day pack, water (at least 1.5–2 litres) and snacks or a packed lunch.
  • Sun cream, hat and sunglasses for sunny days.

For the overnight stay:

  • A change of clothes and nightwear.
  • Toiletries and a small towel.
  • Phone charger and a power bank.
