DAY 1: MARRAKECH TO IMLIL (1,740 M)

Upon your arrival at Marrakech Airport, you'll be transferred to the picturesque mountain village of Imlil. Settle in and relish a warm welcome dinner, while marveling at the panoramic vistas of the High Atlas mountains. The package covers your food, accommodation, and transfers for the trip.

DAY 2: TREK TO REFUGE DE TOUBKAL (3,207 M)

Your day begins with a 3-hour trek to the quaint settlement of Sidi Chamharouch. A hearty lunch awaits you there, complemented by refreshing orange juice from local vendors. Post-lunch, embark on another 3-hour trek to Refuge de Toubkal, your abode for the night.

DAY 3: ASCEND MT. TOUBKAL (4,167 M) & RETURN TO MARRAKECH

Kickstart your journey around 4 am, maintaining a steady ascent. In about 2-3 hours, you should find yourself atop Mt. Toubkal, hopefully just as the sun rises. Revel in the breathtaking views: from its snow-capped peak, across the lush Anti-Atlas mountains, to the expansive Sahara desert. After a pause to capture these moments, begin your 6-hour descent to Imlil, followed by a drive back to the heart of Marrakech.

FITNESS LEVEL REQUIRED?

The summit day spans 9-12 hours (inclusive of multiple breaks). A robust level of fitness is advisable. Engage in jogging or sports activities 1-2 times weekly as preparation.

AGE REQUIREMENT?

Participants must be at least 18 years old. Those aged 16-17 can join with a parent/guardian.

REQUIRED IMMUNIZATIONS?

Consult the NHS's latest guidelines at NHS Travel Advice.

GEAR RECOMMENDATIONS?

Equip yourself with attire suitable for a temperature range of +25C to -10C. A comprehensive equipment checklist will be accessible on your 'Club Hiking in London' dashboard post-booking.

Certainly! Many participants opt for this. Connect with fellow trekkers on the trip's Facebook Group to coordinate.

HOW'S THE ACCOMMODATION?

You'll be lodged in a cozy hotel in Imlil on the initial and concluding nights. While various room configurations are offered, typically, you'll share with another team member. The mid-trip night will be spent in a basic mountain refuge offering dormitory-style rooms.
