Peak District Hike – Saturday

Hey everyone!

We’ve got an exciting adventure coming up this Saturday in the beautiful Peak District National Park – and we can’t wait to hike with you! Whether you're a seasoned trekker or just love being outdoors, this one's going to be a day to remember.

So, let’s get you all prepped with everything you need to know.

Train Info First

We’ll meet outside London Euston Station, right by the benches at the main entrance. Be there at 6:45 am sharp – don’t snooze your alarm, we’ve got a train to catch!

Our train leaves at 07:13 am, and we’ll arrive at Edale Station by 10:32 am. After the hike, we’re aiming to take the 18:47 train back, landing at London Euston around 22:59. Long day, but totally worth it!

What to Pack

Let’s talk gear. You’ll definitely want to wear waterproof hiking boots – the trail can be rocky and muddy. If you’ve got hiking poles, bring them along, especially for the steeper bits.

Dress in layers so you can adjust to the weather, and don’t forget a waterproof jacket and trousers, just in case it rains – this is the UK after all!

Bring a backpack with enough space for water, lunch, snacks, and any spare clothes.

Food & Water

This is a proper hike – around 5 hours, so staying hydrated is key. Pack at least 2 litres of water.

We’ll stop halfway for a scenic picnic lunch at the top of the valley – trust us, the views are amazing! So pack something yummy: maybe a sandwich, some fruit, or whatever fuels your hiking energy.

After the Hike

Once we’re done with the trail, we’ll head to a local pub to grab a drink and a bite. It’s a great chance to relax, chat, and celebrate the day with the group. Bring some cash or a card for food and drinks.

Safety Notes

Our guides are first-aid trained, and they’ll be carrying a first-aid kit. Please make sure to stick with the group, especially if you like stopping for photos – we don’t want to leave anyone behind!

We keep a steady pace, but there will be breaks, and you’ll be well looked after.

Other Info

Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a lead at all times.

Alright – that’s it! Get your gear ready, bring good vibes, and we’ll see you early Saturday morning at Euston. Let’s make this an epic day out in nature!
