Mont Blanc 2025 Expedition Itinerary

Route: London → Chamonix → Mont Blanc → Geneva → London


Day 1 – Tuesday, 30 Sept 2025

  • Travel from London to Geneva (flight or train).
  • Transfer from Geneva to Chamonix.
  • Check-in at local accommodation in Chamonix.
  • Gear check and rest.

Day 2 – Wednesday, 01 Oct 2025

  • Morning transfer to Nid d’Aigle (via cable car and cogwheel train).
  • Hike to Refuge de Tête Rousse (3167 m).
  • Acclimatization walk around the area.
  • Dinner and overnight at Tête Rousse.

Day 3 – Thursday, 02 Oct 2025

  • Early morning climb to Refuge du Goûter (3835 m).
  • Rest, hydration, and altitude adaptation.
  • Dinner and overnight at Goûter.

Day 4 – Friday, 03 Oct 2025

  • Summit day – start at 4:00 AM.
  • Climb: Goûter → Dôme du Goûter → Vallot Hut → Bosses Ridge → Mont Blanc Summit (4810 m).
  • Descent back to Goûter, then continue down to Nid d’Aigle.
  • Return to Chamonix and transfer to Geneva.
  • Overnight stay in Geneva.

Day 5 – Saturday, 04 Oct 2025

  • Free morning in Geneva (optional sightseeing).
  • Flight or train back to London.

Included:

  • 1 night in Chamonix
  • 2 nights in mountain huts with full board (dinner, breakfast, packed lunch)
  • 1 night in Geneva at the end of the trip
  • Train and cable car tickets
  • Transfers between Geneva and Chamonix
  • Group coordination and logistics

Not included: Flights and personal insurance

Important: Good physical condition and previous mountain experience required.
