Cornwall Adventure: One of the UK's Best Coastal Hikes
Ready to explore one of the UK's most spectacular hiking destinations? This time we're heading to Cornwall — famed for its rugged coastline, ancient legends and breathtaking landscapes. Grab your gear and let's dive in.
A glimpse into Cornwall
Cornwall is a magical corner of England, known for its tales of King Arthur, vibrant Celtic heritage and legends of mermaids and pirates. Did you know it even has its own language — Cornish, closely related to Welsh and Breton? With countless prehistoric ruins and picturesque fishing villages, it's a paradise to discover on foot.
The must-do hike: Land's End to Porthcurno
The South West Coast Path is an iconic route, and the stretch from Land's End to Porthcurno is among the most stunning — awe-inspiring cliffs, turquoise waters, wildflowers and hidden beaches.
- Highlights: the Land's End signpost, Nanjizal beach and the breathtaking Minack Theatre.
How to get there from London
🚗 By car
Take the M4 and M5 to Exeter, then the A30 into Cornwall (approx. 5–6 hours). Park at Land's End Car Park (£7–£10/day).
🚃 By public transport
Train from London Paddington to Penzance (approx. 5 hours), then the Land's End Coaster Bus (Service A1) straight to Land's End (approx. 30 mins).
Parking: the most convenient option is the official Land's End Visitor Centre Car Park. Arrive early, especially in summer — it gets busy.
