Itinerary – Day by Day

Day 1 – Lago di Braies to Sennes/Fodara

We start at the famous Lago di Braies, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Dolomites. After a relaxed walk around the shore, we climb steadily to the high plateau of Sennes. The path is clear and non-technical, perfect to get used to the altitude.

We spend the night in a traditional mountain refuge (Sennes or Fodara), with hot dinner and a real alpine atmosphere.

Day 2 – Across the Plateau to Fanes

Today we cross gentle alpine meadows and descend to the valley of Pederü before climbing again onto the legendary Fanes plateau. The terrain is easy but spectacular, with wide open views and rocky peaks all around.

We stay in Rifugio Fanes or Rifugio Lavarella, surrounded by dreamy landscapes and small mountain lakes.

Day 3 – Fanes to Lagazuoi

This is one of the big highlight days. We hike through a dramatic rocky landscape and slowly gain height until we reach Rifugio Lagazuoi, perched high above the valleys.

From here, the sunset and sunrise views are truly unforgettable – a full 360° panorama of Dolomite peaks. This is one of the most iconic huts in the entire region.

Day 4 – Lagazuoi to Nuvolau via Cinque Torri
