Immerse yourself in the enchanting Epping Forest as you tread along this 9 km trail. Though there are a few gentle slopes to navigate, the journey is unquestionably rewarding and packed with adventure.

TRANSPORT & MEETING POINT

We'll congregate at Chingford Station at 10:30 AM. You can reach this station using your Oyster Card or a Contactless payment card.

FOOD

We will stop for a lunch break during the hike. Bring your own food and drink. After the hike, we will go to a pub where you can buy more food and drinks.
The price includes the hike and the train journey.

WHAT TO BRING FOR THE HIKE:

Clothes and Shoes: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for hiking. If you have hiking boots, wear them.
Weather Protection: Bring a waterproof jacket and trousers. This is important in case it rains. If you have waterproof shoes, bring them too.
Water: Bring water. You will need at least 1 litre, but 2 litres is better.
Lunch: Pack a lunch or a picnic. Something you like to eat outside.
Extra Money: After the hike, we will go to a place where you can buy drinks and food. Bring some money for that.

We will take care of the train tickets and logistics. Just come and enjoy the day.

DOGS

Dogs are welcome, but they must be on a leash. See more.

SAFETY

A hike leader and a first aider will be with us and we carry a first aid kit. See more
